Hey there,

My name is Alex. I'm 25 and living in Melbourne. I had a blast making this little film and am looking forward to getting into it even more!

Travel wise, I did a GAP year in England after school, worked there and traveled to Spain, Sweden, France, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Holland and Belguim. I was 18 and travelling alone, awesome experience.

Next trip was to PNG to walk the Kokoda Trail. Absolutely amazing, physically challenging but more of a mental challenge too.

In 2005 i studied for a semester at Michigan State University in the US. So, so fun! Lived on campus and felt like i was in a Hollywood teen movie. Got to see a bit of the States and visited Canada as well.

I spent two months in Mexico and Cuba at the end of that trip. Cuba was like no place I've ever been, and I absolutely fell in love with Mexico. Finished that trip off with a couple of weeks back in Europe.

I did a Bachelor of Psychology & Management/Marketing, worked in advertising for a few years and have now gone back to part-time study, doing playwriting and screenwriting. I love theatre and have spent the last year focussing on writing, producing, directing and acting in a few shows. One of which was Porky Pies that I co-wrote with my buddy Veronica Milsom for the 2007 Melbourne Fringe Festival and 2008 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. I've just started a new part-time marketing role for the Melbourne 2008 Homeless World Cup and am working on a few new scripts.

Last year i did some work with the South Australia Tourism Commision travelling around the state and hosting a competion. I felt so grateful for the opportunity to see some of our beautiful country. Other than SA, i haven't done much Aussie travelling and if i get through, I would be so excited to get around the great brown land and share the stories of my adventures!!
